It’s that time again: More Real Estate stories you might have missed last month! Away we go!
PEI’s Construction Industry is still going along strong, as building permits values have increased significantly over the last year. Apartment buildings and industrial building leading the way in Charlottetown.
CREA (The Canadian Real Estate Association) has predicted that home sales should remain strong through the rest of 2019 and 2020. That’s nationwide but here on PEI we’re still seeing a very tight market though things are showing signs of stabilizing after a few years of what has very much been a sellers market.
Meanwhile some reports are saying new homes are still being constructed at a fast pace powered by immigration & new households in Canada itself. Though storm clouds of international factors in the global economy might start having an impact if things start going sideways with trade wars or recession.
Meanwhile in New Brunswick: A REALTORⓇ had his sign vandalized and ran with it. Which is awesome… but he seems vaguely familiar…
And finally… In a further sign the robots are on their way to taking over: a company has started making wheelie bins that take themselves to the curb on garbage days. Great! I for one welcome our new Wheelie Bin overlords.
See you next month if the robots haven’t taken over! 🤖
